Abstract:

We describe a peculiar case of schizophrenia which raised certain issues concerning treatment, because the patient developed a drug-induced allergy. Analysis of etiology and laboratory investigations lead us to establish the diagnosis of Stevens-Johnson syndrome. An adequate treatment strategy was our first priority in managing this case. The choice is further complicated by the fact that the patient was previously given multiple psychoactive treatment regimens, achieving an unstable progression with remissions and exacerbations of the disease.

Stabilirea unei strategii terapeutice adecvate a reprezentat o prioritate in abordarea acestui caz clinic de schizofrenie.
