History

The journal is the third series of National Psychiatry Review, initially edited in 1990 by National Scientific Medical Society as Neurology, Psychiatry and Neurosurgery, then between 1991 and 1995 as Romanian Journal of Psychiatry, Infantile Neuropsychiatry and Medical Psychology.

Nowadays, the journal is published by the Romanian Association of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy with the name Romanian Journal of Psychiatry.
